We are doing our first volunteer event on March 27th. It's the Walk for Life and it benefits the Care Net Pregnancy Center. This ministry is amazing! It is the complete opposite of Planned Parenthood because Care Net is Pro-Life! They offer free ultrasounds, testing and classes. It's not just for single girls, it is also for married couples as well. They stay open off of donations and these charity events. The Walk for Life is going to be held at the Baylor track. There will be food, live music and inflatables for the kids, as well as face painting. The walk is two miles and the guest speaker is Abby Johnson, who is the former Director of Planned Parenthood. Her story is amazing! After years of employment there, she resigned after having to sit in on an actual abortion taking place. She quit right then and there and is now an advocate for Care Net. Our youth group is asking for sponsors for this walk because we want to be the youth group who raises the most money. The minimum pledge is $10! We ask you pledge however much you want because the Care Net organization is something we want to keep alive. All we need is your name, address, email, and how much you wish to pledge. Care Net sends a bill/statement after the walk. So, we do not need to collect any money from you.

Please keep in mind, you DO NOT have to attend just because you pledge money. However, if you want to walk you CAN.

We are praying hard about this and we hope to benefit this organization far more than they imagined. Thanks for your help.
